| this is probably going to be my last post, and its a very sad one.
first off, why does everyone keep dying!? in the past 2 months so many people have died...while i was in indonesia last summer, we went to visit my dying great aunt. she had a stroke 10 years ago and was paralyzed ever since. it turns out the only reason she kept herself alive was so that my dad and my sisters and i could visit her. the next day she refused to eat and died a day later. my dads brother died of lung cancer the same week, and one of his others brothers ad also died from lung cancer a few years back. yesterday, my great uncle died.
i asked my parents what happened to some of their family members, because i've only seen so few of my relatives. it turns out, most of them died. my dads sister committed suicide because her husband left her. my cousins husband died in a car crash 2 years ago and her dad was the one that had just died of lung cancer. another one of my dads sister died, im not sure why though, and so did his dad, my grandpa. my moms sister fell into a pot of boiling water and died when she was little. that's all i know for now, but im sure there's plenty more..
recently, steve irwin died, and im really sad about that, seriously, even though i didnt know him personally, me and him had some strings attached :/. last year, a close friend of mine's dad died, it was really sad. another friends friend dad died(although i dont know that friend, its still really sad to hear). last week, another "sort of" friend's dad died.
the reason why im really posting this is because i know a few people that hate their lives and just really want to kill themselves. i think they're just stupid. there's much more people with worse lives but they still smile and work hard to live a good life. most of my relatives died because they didnt live in a good place, indonesia. its a 3rd world country. they dont have nearly as good doctors as they do here. half of my relatives would still be alive if they lived here in america. i just hope this post will change some of your minds about your own life.
kind of a side story, but when i was with my cousin who's husband died, she always smiled and always seemed happy. but i could tell, there was something not right. like..her smiles and laughter were hollow or something. thats as best as i can describe it. i asked my for a bit of background about her, and he told me her husband died in a car accident, and thats when i knew, i knew that was it.
